Border Agents Can Now Search Your Laptop

This article lights me on fire. Apparently border patrol can now search your electronic equipment WITHOUT ANY PROBABLE CAUSE. This is a slap in the face of America upholding the freedoms we cherish so much. The courts claim it helps protect national security. No it doesn't, it creates more headaches for the people doing the searches and the people who are being searched. I can't wait until I have a recording device in every room (like in 1984) recording everything I say, because it will help nation security. I swear our government is exploiting every little fear we have to keep drilling away at our freedoms. It has happen countless times with freedom of speech. I swear, I am no longer proud of this country's ideology to protect human rights.
